MyOxyRides ("we", "us", "our") is an electric vehicle rental platform based in Mysuru, Karnataka, India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information you provide when you use our website at myoxyrides.com.

We collect information in two ways:

A. Contact Form

When you submit our contact form, we collect:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Inquiry type (Rider or Business Partner)
• Message content

This data is stored securely in Google Firebase Firestore, accessible only to authorised MyOxyRides administrators.

B. Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website. GA4 automatically collects:

• Pages visited and time spent
• Device type (mobile / desktop / tablet)
• Approximate geographic location (country/region)
• Browser and operating system
• Referral source (how you found our site)
• Interactions such as button clicks and video plays

GA4 uses cookies and similar technologies. Data is processed by Google LLC in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to individually identifiable analytics data — all reports are aggregated.

Our website uses cookies placed by Google Analytics to measure website traffic and user behaviour. These cookies do not contain personally identifiable information.

• Netlify — Website hosting and deployment (Netlify Inc., USA).

Contact form submissions are retained in our Firestore database for as long as they are needed for business communication purposes. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).

Analytics data is retained for 14 months per Google Analytics default settings, after which it is automatically deleted.

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your contact form data
• Opt out of Google Analytics tracking

We take data security seriously. Our contact form system uses:

• Server-side API routes — no direct public database access
• Firebase Firestore security rules restricting public writes
• Admin authentication via Firebase Authentication

• Rate limiting and daily submission caps against abuse

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our website is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mysuru, Karnataka, India.
